Project Milestone Structure

Freelance development projects are structured around fixed milestones agreed upon in the project statement of work:

• Initiation Deposit (50%): Due upon contract execution to reserve calendar sprint dates, configure staging architecture, and start technical discovery.
• Completion Balance (50%): Invoiced only after full client review on private staging servers and prior to production domain DNS launch or final repository transfer.
• Multi-Stage Enterprise Builds: Custom platforms exceeding $3,000 USD are disbursed in three equal 33.3% milestones (Sprint Discovery, Staging Alpha, Production Handover).

Defending Project Deadlines Against Scope Creep

Each project proposal includes an itemized technical specification detailing page templates, custom functionalities, and supported device breakpoints:

• Minor refinements matching approved Figma designs are accommodated naturally during sprint iterations.
• Substantial architectural alterations (such as introducing unbudgeted third-party APIs, new payment channels, or major layout redesigns) will be estimated in a written Change Order at an agreed fixed fee before development begins.

100% Client Codebase Ownership

You retain complete operational freedom over your technological stack:

• All handcrafted source code, custom Gutenberg blocks, theme architectures, and design files become 100% your exclusive intellectual property upon final milestone settlement.
• I retain the right to showcase non-confidential project screenshots and anonymized performance metrics within my engineering portfolio, unless an explicit mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is executed.

Complimentary 30-Day Technical Warranty

Every completed project includes complimentary 30-day post-launch technical support directly with senior engineer Fajle Rabbi Choyon:

• Immediate resolution of any functional bugs, responsive display glitches, or CSS errors within the approved contract scope.
• Verification of Core Web Vitals speed and search engine sitemap indexing post-DNS cutover.
• Warranty excludes errors caused by subsequent unauthorized modifications by third parties, conflicting third-party plugin updates, or external hosting outages.

Liability Boundary & Damages Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither party shall be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, commercial data, or business interruption) arising from software deployment. In any event, total aggregate liability under this agreement shall be strictly capped at the total project fees actually paid by the client under the relevant statement of work.

Early Contract Termination

Either party may terminate the project engagement upon 7 days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall pay for all verifiable milestones and work completed up to the date of notice. All completed work assets paid for up to that point will be transferred to the client. Initial deposits are non-refundable once sprint discovery has commenced.

Applicable Jurisdiction

These terms and any disputes arising out of or related to our engineering engagements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Both parties agree to first seek resolution through good-faith amicable negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
